Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. is currently seeking an Site Labourer to join our team!
Qualifications
This is a site-based position supporting construction and general site operations. The successful candidates will work closely with the Project Manager, supervisors, safety team, tradespeople, subcontractors, and other site personnel to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
Position Details

- Project Location: Lynn Lake, Manitoba
- Schedule: 14 days on / 14 days off
- Hours: 12 hours per day while on rotation
- Employment Type: Project/Contract
- Travel: Travel to and from the project site may be required
- Reporting To: Project Manager / Site Supervisors
Key Responsibilities
- Perform general labour and material handling duties in support of site operations and construction activities.
- Assist tradespeople and site supervisors with daily tasks as required.
- Load, unload, move, and organize materials, tools, and equipment.
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
- Assist with site preparation, cleanup, and general construction activities.
- Operate basic hand and power tools as required and within training/authorization.
- Follow all safety procedures, site rules, and client requirements.
- Participate in toolbox meetings, safety orientations, and required training.
- Identify and report hazards, unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or other concerns to supervision.
- Perform other general labour duties as assigned by site supervision.
Qualifications & Experience
- Previous construction, industrial, mining, or general labour experience is an asset.
- Ability to perform physically demanding work for extended periods.
- Ability to work safely and effectively as part of a team.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Experience using basic hand and power tools is an asset.
- Valid driver’s licence is considered an asset.
- Previous experience working on remote or rotational projects is considered an asset.

They will demonstrate a positive attitude, willingness to learn, and the ability to work effectively with tradespeople, supervisors, and other site personnel.
Working Conditions
This is a remote project-based position in Lynn Lake, Manitoba, requiring a rotational work schedule of:
14 consecutive days on / 14 consecutive days off, working 12 hours per day while on rotation.
The successful candidates must be prepared to work extended shifts and live/work at the project site during their scheduled rotation. The position involves physical labour, including standing, walking, lifting, carrying, and working outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
