Anmar Mechanical and Electrical Contractors Ltd. is currently seeking anAccounts Payable Clerk to join our team!
Qualifications
- University degree or College Diploma in Business/Accounting from a recognized institution considered an asset
- 1-3 years’ experience in an accounting role
- Familiarity with accounts payable
- Experience with accounting and ERP software such as QuickBooks, Pivot Explorer, etc.
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Suite
Duties:
- Calculate, prepare and issue documents related to accounts including invoices, account statements and other financial statements using computerized accounting system
- Code, total, batch, enter and accounts payable transactions
- Prepare cheques and EFTs to process payments
- Maintain schedules to track and ensure monthly vendors are paid on time
- Manage and update vendor account information
- Respond to customer inquiries, maintain good customer relations
- Maintain organized account payable documentation and records
- Provide all other accounting and clerical support to the accounting department as required
